The Turning Points of Life blog is intended to provide inspiration for readers to find meaning in their life experiences. I am covering five categories for my posts.

The first is sharing personal turning points in my life with the hope that they will help readers see their own turning points. Ultimately I will publish my book, “The Turning Points of Life” that I hope to have on the market before the end of 2016.

The second is sharing the lessons I have learned to help readers keep the thrill of learning alive throughout their lives and to consider “Becoming a Master Student”. This second category will include a seminar on how to make “Becoming a Master Student” a reality in your life.

The third is sharing the lessons I have learned to help readers learn the ways to engage “Raising Thinking Children”. This third category will include seminars on how to make “Raising Thinking Children” a reality in your life.

The fourth is sharing personal experiences with God that resulted in “Refueling the Soul” thus edifying my faith and building my trust in God. My hope here is to inspire the reader to search for their own personal experiences with God and how it refueled their soul, faith and trust in God.

The fifth is sharing the story of my son’s journey to become a master sushi chef and restaurateur through my eyes. The journey begins before he could walk to the present. It is a story of determination, courage, dedication, patience, tenacity, confidence, faith, resourcefulness, creativity and vision. I hope to publish a book “The Evolution of a Master Sushi Chef ~ Creating Edible Art.” By being courageous in breaking through the rules of tradition, new visions of innovation, education and artistry became possible.

Someone asked me why I am writing these experiences that I hope will form the foundation of my books in the future. After thoughtful deliberation, my answer came to me: Seeing my turning points, my moments of profound learning, the moments I was able to impart wisdom to my son and when heaven refueled my soul, I have become a deeply grateful person. I know that a grateful person is a happy soul.

Henry Ford has been attributed to have said: “If you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you are right.”

I have taken this truth to the next level: “If you believe to can’t, you won’t . . . If you believe you can, you will.”

I believe success comes in a CAN, not in a CAN’T.

I invite you to join me and sign up for updates to new postings.
